This was a great series. Highly original, challenging, unpredictable and wonderfully acted. It’s available on Netflix right now, so if you aren’t all over it, make it so! 

The intro is particularly stunning – a canvas getting out of control in a subtle moody way. It really set the tone effectively for the show that was to follow. I hope television keeps challenging us in the same way that Top Of The Lake attempted, and outright achieved.
